Privacy

JYACK LTD. is the data controller for this site. It collects as little as it can. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.

Enquiries

The message and CV request forms ask for your name, company, email address and a note about what you need. They are delivered by Formspree to the studio inbox, which runs on Microsoft 365. Your details are used only to reply to you, and are deleted within 12 months of our last contact. If you become a client, project and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Call bookings

Calls are booked through Cal.com, which collects your name, email address and chosen time in order to arrange the call.

Analytics

Only if you choose Accept, Google Analytics counts page visits and where visitors come from, and Microsoft Clarity records anonymised heatmaps and sessions. Both are used to see which work gets viewed. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying anyone.

Hosting and video

The site is hosted by Cargo, which processes technical data such as your IP address in order to serve pages. Some project pages include films played through Vimeo and YouTube. Those players may collect usage data and set their own cookies when a page containing one loads.

Legal basis and transfers

Enquiries and bookings are handled on the basis of legitimate interests, or to take steps before entering a contract with you. Analytics relies on your consent. Some of the providers named here are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred, it is under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time. Email jack@jyack.com. If you are unhappy with the reply, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
